1) Honorary Grand Marshal, Santa Monica Police Chief Timothy J. The parade was presented by the Ocean Park Association. 2)  The SMPD Mounted Patrol unit ride on horses in the parade. 3) Jeffrey Jarow, Ocean Park Association  Board of Director, and his son Morgan, 6, drive a tractor down Main Street. 4,5)  Santa Monica High School marching band performs. 6) The Santa Monica Fire Department is led by Chief Jim Hone.  7) Mary Ann Powell, CEO of Pacific Park and Jeff Klocke, Director of Marketing drive Inkie in a convertible during the parade. 8)  Laurel Rosen, President / CEO of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce and Chair-elect, Iao Katagiri wave to the crowed on Main Street during the parade. 9) The Andre Comeau Band perform during the parade. 10) Nikki Allen, AKA Ms Liberty, pushes her son Wyatt, 4, AKA Uncle Sam, on his tricycle. 11) The Santa Monica Girl Scouts carry a banner down Main Street during the  Second Annual Santa Monica Fourth of July Parade.

Jackman and Santa Monica Fire Chief Jim Hone during the open house. 6) Seinna Morgan 2 1/2 and Lucia Johansen, 3, play in a wagon during the Fire Service Day at Santa Monica Fire Station No. 2. The annual National Fire Service Day welcomes the community to meet their local firefighters and tour the station.  Fire Service Day is held nationwide to provide communities like Santa monica with an opportunity to visit a fire station and get to know the personnel who serve and protect the community.

The Santa Monica Police Department  fired off a twenty-one-gun salute during the memorial on Thursday. The memorial recognized public safety officers who gave their lives in the line of duty to protect the citizens of Santa Monica.
